GOODNIGIT　MOONなどおやすみ前の絵本が好きな人には絶対お薦め。色がカラフルで読んでいる大人も楽しめるし、起きているときにいっしょに読むと子どもも楽しめる。

ちょうちょの大好きなメルヘンチックな娘（2才）が喜びそうかと思い購入しました。９匹のちょうの色に合わせ、目に染みるような鮮やな景色がページを開くごとに展開していきます。いろいろな生き物があちこちに登場し、親子で多くの発見のある絵本です。娘は届いたその日から、自分で絵本を開いては、ひとりでじっと見入っていました。色の名前を覚えるのにも最適です。

この本は2歳の娘のために買いました。娘はそのページごとに同じ色の蝶を触ることによって色を覚えました。2歳の英語クラスでもこれを読み聞かせしました。が、文章が難しかったのかそのまま文を読むと子供たちは興味をしめしませんでしたが、Touch the pink butterfly!などと言って子供たちにも蝶を触らせると、子供たちも興味を持って最後まで見てくれました。その年齢にあわせて読んであげるとこの本を使って色々なことを教えてあげれると思います。
