この本の素晴らしさは、皆さん書いてくださってるとうりですので、あえて皆さんが語ってないことを書きます。
この作品に限らず、巨匠サブダ作品に全て共通することです。
それは、「サブダ作品には、難が非常に多い」ということです。

ご存知のとうり、サブダ作品は非常に凝ったつくりになっています。
そのため、糊付け位置がほんの少しずれただけでポップアップ同士がぶつかり合い、
折れてしまう。そうでなくても、もともと非常に具沢山なので、折れやすいのです。
また、サブダさんは多くの芸術的な作品を低価格で提供してくださっており、本当にありがたいのですが、
そのために紙の質が悪い（薄い）ものが多い。これも折れやすい一因です。

しかしだからといって、紙の質をもっと良くしたり、
もっと誤差が出ないような職人的な手作業が出来るところで製作させれば、
当然のことながら、このような低価格で、このような素晴らしいポップアップを提供することは不可能になります。
ですから、折れ、糊のはみ出し、剥がれ等の難があることは、ある程度しかたのないことだと思います。

サブダ作品は本当に魅力的で、これほどプレゼントに向いた商品はそうそう見つかりません。
ただ、このように「難が多い」ということは、頭の片隅に置いておいたほうがいい。
特に、大切な方にプレゼントするような場合は、
必ず実物をよくチェックされてから贈られたほうが良いと思います。

しかし、そういう点を差し引いても、サブダ作品は本当に素晴らしい。比類ない。
それだけはもう、間違いのない事実です。
これからも素晴らしい作品を、心から期待しています！

見たら欲しくなる！！手元に絶対欲しくなる！！！
この本がこの値段というのは嘘みたいにお得です。

いつもながらサブダのポップアップの見事さにはため息です。
小学生中学年以上の子どもなら
この素晴らしさを十分理解できるので
宝物に触るように丁寧に扱ってくれますよ。

サブダの本では私はこの本が一番好きですが
うちの主人はThe Night Before Christmasの方が
シンプルだけど好きだそうです。

私は色々な絵本や、美しい写真集を持っていて
知り合いの人に色々みせるのですが、この本はとても評判がいいです。
普段は絵本や、美しい写真集を見せてもあまり反応が無い人でも
この本にはとてもビックリして、喜んで見てくれます。

おもに白い紙で構成された絵本なのですが
白い部分が多くて寂しいというよりは
この動物はどんな色かな？この場所はどんな色だろう？と
想像力が掻きたてられ、とても楽しい絵本になっていると思います。
それに、ポイントで、キラキラの紙やカラーの紙が使われており
とても雰囲気良く仕上がっています。

芸術的な程に作り込まれた、大迫力のポップアップ絵本で
オシャレでハイセンス、しかもとっても楽しい絵本。
みなさんがおっしゃるように、プレゼントにも最適だと思います。
