くるりと時計の針が回って、１２時になるとサンタクロースを待つ楽しい夜の始まり・・・。
どのページも美しく細かい細工が施されていて、次のページを見るのが恐い位わくわくしました。
目を見張るところはたくさんありますが、やはり圧巻はトナカイに牽かれたソリでサンタクロースが翔てくるシーンです。

ページを開いた瞬間に、シャンシャンシャンシャンと鈴の音を高く鳴らして、”私のところに”サンタクロースがやってくる！！ という気持ちになりました。
大人になってしまった今、こんなに素直な気持ちでサンタクロースの存在を感じることができるなんて、とても幸せだと思います。

この絵本を読んだ人は、きっと同じようにサンタの存在を感じられると思いますよ（＾＾）

SABUDAの絵本は細工がすばらしく、つい絵にばかり目がいってしまいますが、お話もとても暖かく韻を踏んだ綺麗な英文です。
お話と絵と両方が楽しめる満足できる１冊です。

ほんとによかった。
仕事から帰って届いた本を開けたとき「わぁ。。。」と声を出してしまいました。しかも笑顔で。
私はデザインの仕事をしているのですが、素晴らしい作りです。初心に返れたような、（仕事を離れて）童心に帰れたような気持ちです。

夫や親にみせたら、見入っていました。プレゼントには最高の本です。でも自分のために大切に持っておきたい。。

4.0 out of 5 stars 「Ho Ho Ho」そんなサンタさんの声が聞こえてきそうな素敵な一冊, 2005/12/29
発見した時は、今更　飛び出す絵本なんて･･･と少しバカにしていましたが、イメージやレビューを
見て、どうやら自分が思っている「飛び出す絵本」とは少し違うようで久々にワクワクしながら思い切って購入。
ただ、正直なところ、届くまでは頭のどこかで「所詮、飛び出す絵本だもの」と思っていた感がありました。
金額も高かったし「ハズレ」だったらどうしようという思いもありました。でも、届いた本を開けたら、なんて
素敵なんでしょう。ここまでの作りをしたPOP-UPを今までに見たことがあったでしょうか。

時計の秒針が12時を指し、トナカイが天を駆けサンタさんがやってくる。サンタさんは朗らかに笑い、プレゼントを
靴下に･･･そして煙突から去っていく。街にはしんしんと雪が降り積もり、再びサンタさんは他の子供たちの為に
トナカイで空を駆けていく･･･。そんな物語が本当に目の前で展開されるのです。トナカイの鈴の音もサンタさんの
笑い声も全てが聞こえてきそうです。トナカイに至っては鼻息まで聞こえそう･･･。素敵な絵本です。

なのにどうして☆4つなのかと言えば、ページとページがくっついていたりして仕掛けが思うように動かなかったり
ページをたたむ際に、仕掛けが折れてしまったりという、繊細な作りであるがゆえに起こるマイナス面があるから。
仕方がないことだとは思いますがある種の「消耗品」という覚悟が必要かもしれません。でも、本当に素敵な絵本です。
