マンツーマン子供英会話のレッスンに使っています。
子供は、Lift-the-flap bookが好きなので、すぐに興味をもちますし、色もカラフルなので楽しんでいるようです。
この本では、behindとunderに焦点をあてていますが、私は絵を利用して、inやonも使っています。Mommyをさがすうちに、wagonの中に、いろいろなおもちゃが増えていくのですが、そのことにもふれたり、テーブルの上にある物に話をふったりします。
何度か繰り返してから、実際に、子供達の家にあるものを使って、
私：“Where is your doll?”
子：“Under the table.”
私：“Where is my bag?”
子：“On the sofa.”
などと、練習しています。

私は作者、Karen Katzのポップな絵、そして家族愛溢れる内容が
大好きです。
日本にはなかなかこのようなカラフルで見た目から親子共に
ひきつけられるような作品が少ない気がします。

しかけ絵本大好きな１歳５ヶ月の娘の為にこの本を購入し、
毎日のように読んでいます。
この本でball, bear, duck, MommyそしてNo!^-^;という言葉を
憶えました。

このくらいの子供の頭脳は私の想像を遥かに超える急成長を
しているようで、絵の中での物の名前と、実物のつながりも
理解している様子です。
最後にママをベッドの中に発見すると、毎回激しく指差して
Mommy！と大騒ぎです。

この絵本の作者のシリーズで何冊か悩んで、”Where Is Baby's Mommy”を買いました。表紙の絵でやられ（気に入ったの意）ていたのですが、届いて本物を見てみるとそれ以上に、ポップな色遣いなのにどこか柔らかい優しい感じの伝わってくる絵がとてもかわいくて、もう何冊か欲しくなってしまいました！ベビーがママを探していくストーリーで、簡単な英語だけなので読むのも苦ではありません。ただ、子供（１才２ヶ月）のめくるスピードに、もうちょっと早く読めるように練習しなくちゃ・・と思う今日このごろです（笑）おすすめ♪♪です。
