   ストーリーはページごとについている小さな本に入っていて、『オズ』を読んだことのない人でも十分話についていけるが、ボームの名誉のためにも、ボームの素晴らしい物語を詳しく知ってもらうためにも、原本もあわせて読み聞かせてやることをお勧めしたい。ボームの名作に敬意を表したサブダのこの本には目を見張るばかりである。大詐欺師の魔法使いが緑や金や青色に光る気球で飛ばされていくのを見れば、原作しか認めたがらない人も、驚きのあまり必ずや息を飲むだろう。この本は『オズ』への優れた入門書であると同時に、楽しさいっぱいのコレクターズアイテムでもある。（Emilie Coulter, Amazon.com）

カスタマーレビューでも皆さんの驚きの声がたくさんなので、
実際自分の目で見てみようと思い、購入しました。

・・・まいりました。まず日本ではお目にかからない、スケールとレベルの高さです。どのページも素晴らしい。英語を読みながらページをめくるとため息ものです。これは日本人好みのポップ・アップ・アートであり、予想をはるかに上回るレベルなのです。

小学生がこの本に出会えたら、工作や美術に興味を持つかもしれないし、中学生以上なら宝物になるでしょう。
幼稚園の息子も魅せられ、大事に大事にめくっては「この本、すごすぎ」と言って喜んでいます。
この本は高くはありません。お勧めいたします。

　ついに　届きましたッ！　とにかく先ずは一冊ロバート・サブダのしかけ絵本が欲しくて、アリスのと　どっちにしようか散々悩みましたが、他のカスタマーさんのレビューも参考にしつつ、ページ数も多くめがねまで付く（オマケに弱い私。）オズに決めました。いつもは期待しすぎると　結果、がっかりすることの多い私をも満足させる仕上がりでした。感激！娘もすっかり仕掛けの虜になって、自分にくれくれとせがんできます。
　竜巻のしかけは、凝っていただけに何度も開いたら破れてきてしまい残念でしたが、すばらしい仕掛けなだけに、納得させられてしまいました（動きに刺傷はないですから、安心下さい。）中にもページが盛りだくさんで、１４ページというには語弊がある　仕掛けだらけの一冊。すっかりハマッてしまったので、熟読の後には是非不思議の国のアリスも手に入れたいと思います。

アリスとオズ、両方買ってみました。
両方とも噂どおり、素晴らしい出来です。
写真より実際目の前で見ると、素晴らしさがよく解ります。
2つを比べると個人的にはこちらのオズの方が好きです。
オズの方が
（紙でこんな楽しみ方が出来るなんて。）
と驚いたからだと思います。
膨らんだり、回ったり、覗いてみたり、光ってみたり、
何度眺めてもワクワクします。
この本をみて驚かない人は絶対いないと思います。
お手元に置かれてみてはいかがでしょう？
