子供達への英語の読み聞かせにこの本を使いました。
毎ページごとの仕掛けに、子供達は静かに聞き入っていました。
最後の10のページを開いた時は・・・。
後ろで見ていたお母さん達から拍手が上がりました。

１から１０までの数を楽しく勉強するのに最高の絵本です。

娘のお気に入りの絵本の一つですが、
いくつかのページのクッキーたちは
かわいがられ過ぎて、曲がってしまいました。

でも英語で　one, two....　と、数えている姿を見たら
とても叱る気にはなれませんでした。

10ページしかない絵本である。ページあたりの価値は、単純計算で広辞苑の80倍以上にもなる。しかし、この飛び出す絵本を一度でも経験すれば、それが決して高くないことが分かる。むしろ、安すぎるとさえ思えるであろう。

カラフルな世界の中、ネズミたちが様々な種類のクッキーを数えている。最初の方は、飛び出す仕掛けも大したことはない。韻を踏んだ文章を楽しむ余裕もある。しかし、ページをめくるたびにクッキーの枚数が一枚ずつ増えてくる。それに伴い、仕掛けも大がかりになってきて、とうとう最後の10ページ目で驚くべきものを目撃するに至る。

Amazonが「この本の中味を見る」リンクに最後のページを選ばなかったのは、それが飛び出しすぎていて（！）画像取り込みできなかったという理由のほかに、きっと、このネタをばらしたくないという良心があったからなのだと思う。ぜひ、自身の目で確かめてほしい。

カラフルな色づかい、
かわいいネズミといろいろな種類のクッキー、
どのページもため息の出るようなすばらしい仕掛け・・
ページをめくるごとに歓声が上がること間違いなし！

誕生日カード代わりに母に贈ったのですが、
母もすっかりSabudaファンになってしまいました。
すべての女の子に読んで欲しい一冊。
