5.0 out of 5 stars リズムに乗って楽しめる本♪, 2002/6/17
サルがだんだん増えていって、たいこをたたいたりバイオリンを弾いたりしながら行進します。
絵も親しみやすく、お話も子供の興味をひきつける展開で、二重まる。
でも、ただ読むだけはもったいない。
リズムがいいので、読みながら主人公のさるになったつもりで体を動かしてみると、とっても楽しいですよ。

親子で英語を楽しみたい方には、この本はお薦めです。

まず、このBright and Early Books for Beginning Beginnersのシリーズは、文の長さや、単語を限っているし、絵もはっきりしているので、小さな子供には、ぴったりです。

この本は、手と指ができることを短い文であらわしています。　１ページに大きな字で２-４行なので、とても読みやすいと思います。　また、たいこの擬音が出てくるのですが、それも　口に出して言うと、リズムがよく、子供が喜ぶと思います。

２，３歳から幼稚園児くらいまでに、読み聞かす本としては、とてもよくできています。

5.0 out of 5 stars 太鼓をたたきながら読みたくなる本, 2004/2/16
猿がどんどん増えてゆき"Dum ditty Dum ditty Dum dum dum"という太鼓の音が繰り返しでてきます。主語、動詞のある文章は少なく、歌詞のような文章が続きます。絵とリズムのよさで理屈なく楽しめる本です。1歳の息子には"Dum ditty Dum ditty Dum dum dum"にあわせておもちゃの太鼓をたたきながら読み聞かせています。簡単な英語なので誰でも読みきかせができると思います。
