Book Description

Grammar in Use is a highly successful two-level grammar series known for its clear explanations and innovative format. Each unit is a two-page spread that presents a specific grammar point on the left-hand page and provides practice exercises on the right. The Grammar in Use workbooks provide students with further opportunities to practice difficult grammar points and to consolidate their understanding of related grammar topics, such as different ways of expressing the future. The workbooks also include review sections for each group of units in the student books. These groups, such as the Present and Past, Modals, and Articles, are listed in the table of contents of each student book. タイトルが紛らわしいけれども、こちらは同名テキストに対応する問題集。見かけもよく似ていて、テキストは光沢のある表紙だが、ワークブックはマットな質感。また、テキストは2色刷なのに対し、ワークブックはモノクロ。テキストと同じく、答え有り／答え無しのバージョンがあり、こちらは答え有りの方。

テキストの各ユニットに対応した平均10個程（例外的に20問近いものもいくつか有り）の問題、プラステーマ毎にある復習問題（同じく平均10問程度）という構成。問題形式はテキストの右ページのものとほとんど同じだけれども、問題文が長かったり、英作文を求める問題があったり、少し難しめの単語・表現（欄外の注釈で定義文の記載有り）が使われていたりして、テキストより若干手応えのあるものになっ!ている。テキストの各ユニットを解き終わる毎に使うのもいいし、1冊全部やり終えた後に復習として使うのもいい。
テキストはCD付だったのに、問題集の方は音声教材無し。それが惜しいので星1つマイナス。

In Useシリーズの中級と初級の文法のメイン書を終えて初めてのワークブックを購入しました。まずメインの文法書よりは薄く軽いのて嬉しいです。中はカラーは一切無く２色刷りですが十分綺麗です。答えも後ろに付属とています。先にメインの文法書を終えてしているものの私はすこし難しいと思います。やはりワークブックなので今まで学んできた物の全てという形なので....でも問題もとても新鮮な物ばかりで解いてくのはやはり楽しいです。なのでまずメインの文法書を終えてからの方が良いと思います☆

私の英語学習の主役と言っていいほど大活躍している「Basic Grammar in Use」の中級編→→「Grammar in Use」☆Basic~で基礎をしっかり学んだら次はGrammar~で力試し☆文法が苦手でも楽しく学べます♪♪おまけに各ユニットの解説を読むReading力、付属のCDを利用してListening力も強化できる一石三鳥の教材です☆
