シェルダンものとしておなじみの筋の展開だが、英語は簡単だし、読みやすい。シェルダンになじみのない人には面白い。しかし、最後の結末はいかにも著者自身がどう落ちをつけて良いか分からなかったという感じでお粗末。シェルダンの本の中では退屈な方だ。しかしやっぱり英語の初心者には適している読み物。

doomsday conspiracyとは何ともおどろおどろしいタイトルですが、お話は最近出たthe sky is fallingにちょっと似ている追跡モノ・ちょっとSF風味という感じです。

the sky is fallingもそうだけど先は見え見えで「びっくり度」「どんでん返し度」は彼の作品群ではかなり低い方。いくつかシェルダンを読んでいるひとにはつまらないと思います。

最初は戸惑いましたが、さすがに話の展開はシェルダン風です
次々に事件が起こって読者を飽きさせません
