とても厚く、中身も充実していてとても良い本でした。
なのですが、洋書なので文字が読めず、その割に文字が多いですし、
個人的にはファブリックの柄など、グラフィック的なものに期待していたのですが、
期待よりも文字が多くて、グラッフィく要素が少なかったので個人的には（値段が高いし）満足しきれなかった感じです。
ですが、この本はmarimekkoのファッションだけにとどまらず、
広い範囲で紹介してあるので、読み応えはすごいです。

marimekkoが好きな方は買いなのではないかと思います。

近頃（２００４年）ではそのテキスタイルデザインが再度注目され、日本の某通販カタログでプリント柄の額入りポスターまで発売されているフィンランドのマリメッコ社本。’５０~’６０年代に興味のある人も必見！また、ファブリックだけにとどまらず、服のカッティング、インテリア、建築に至るまで、網羅されているこの本は面白すぎて退屈しない。今見てもとても新鮮さを与えてくれるこの本を知ればフィンランドにも行ってみたくなる！そんな素敵な触発をしてくれる貴重な一冊だ。
