このパックの「Student's Book」はとにかく分量が多い。サンプル問題の転載も多い。この教材は、大学での授業、企業での研修を想定して作られている。この本は、一歩ずつ実力をつけていく構成になっている。腰を据えて、じっくり取り組むのがいいと思う。
解答編の「Tapescripts and Answer Key」では、「Student's Book」の選択肢や「Tapescripts」と、「Answer Key」の解説を読み比べなければわからない解答記号の誤りや単語の誤りがところどころに見られる。
「Student's Book」はUnit 1からUnit 28まであり、１つのユニットが１つのパートになっており、全パートが４周して全分野を網羅するようになっている。CD1は、Unit 1-4，8-11、CD2はUnit 15-18，22-25まで、収録されている。リスニングセクションでは、時間のない人なら、冒頭から目を通して戦術だけを学び、Tactic practice,Mini-testだけでも挑戦した方がいいと思う。
「Practice Test 1」,「Practice Test 2」は発展的な勉強として、やってもいいだろう。
TOEIC公開テストの問題作成をしているETSの問題作成なので、ほかの模試に手を出すより、このテストに1回〜3回くらいずつ挑戦するほうが効果的だと思う。1つの模試について、ＣＤ一枚がついている。ただ、パート７の語彙問題の傾向が変わってきているが、よく注意すれば出来るので、そう神経質になることはないだろう。
この本は洋書なので、全部アメリカ英語で書いてあるが、辞書をこまめに引けばわかると思う。

途中まで解いて星3つでレビューを書いたのですが、やり終えたので、レビューを修正し、星4
つにしました。このセットは、あまり書店では見かけませんが、TOEICの製作機関であるETS公
認の参考書です。全パートの演習を各４回繰り返す総合対策の参考書一冊と、模擬試験2回分と
CDが付属しています。以下、感想です。

○良いところ
参考書の例題や模試は、さすがにETSの公認だけあって、公式問題集同様、クオリティが非常に
高く、本番に最も近いのではと思います。本番同様の問題方式に慣れるためのトレーニングと
しては星5つです。本番に酷似しています。

○悪いところ
本番対策は、日本語で書かれた本の方が優れています。また、参考書前半部分で解答の誤植が
多すぎます。答えがCなのに解答がBになっているとか、初歩的な誤りばかりで、ちゃんと校正
したとは思えません。その他、レイアウトが見辛い、解説がほとんどない、参考書にCDのトラ
ック番号の記載がない等、使い勝手がこれほど悪い参考書はありません。

とにかく、参考書としては非常に不親切です。ですが、それを差し引いても、問題の質は高
く、問題形式に慣れるための演習書としてはお勧めできます。ただ、いかんせん価格が高すぎ
ます。参考書と模試を分けて、参考書はちゃんと校正して、解説も加えた日本語版で発売し、
模試も単品で発売した方がユーザーにも喜ばれると思います。せっかく優れた教材なので、今
のままではもったいないです。余談ですが、このセットの参考書部分のみが販売されています
が、CDや解答が付いておらず、別売でも手に入らないとのこと。出版元は何を考えているので
しょうか？

5.0 out of 5 stars 模試としてのレベルが高い, 2009/10/16
ETSで問題を作っていた著者が作っているので問題の質がたかい。
またETSが公認なので、音声も本番と同じ人が録音しているようである。
つまり、本番にとっても近い出来になっている。

ただ解説ももちろんすべて英語なので初心者にはむかないので注意が必要。
