大変優れた良い教材です。まとまった量の英文記事やストーリーを題材に使い、速読の方法（スキャニング、予測読み、段落を理解しながらの読み、スキミングなど）を習います。内容を問う問題が数問続きます。進むにつれて学習者がより高度なスキルを養えるよう考えて編集されているのが感じます。内容も充実３００ページあります。全てやり終えるとかなりの速さで英字新聞やペーパーバックを読めるようになるでしょう。学習に楽しみを感じられる本。それだけの実力は付くはずです。

購入した本には解答が付いていませんでした。
旧版は巻末に解答が掲載されていたのですが。
出版社はどうやら，この本を個人用に売りたくないようです。
学校採用を前提とした教材であり，個人向けとしては不親切なので★２つ。

英会話の先生に勧められて購入しました。実際にやり始めてみて、非常に優れた教材だと感じました。この1冊の中に、「読む力」をアップさせる為の幾つかのアプローチがあり、その全てが多すぎず、少なすぎず盛り込まれていると思います。結果をグラフに記入するページもあり、この教材を使い始めたころと現在の読む速さなどを、目で見ることが出来ます。根気よくこの1冊をやり終えたら、本当に力がつくのではないかと思います。
