今回初めてシリーズを買う予定の方へ。

「海外版は英語字幕、英語音声だから何言ってるのかわからない」
という方は『Call of Duty 日本語字幕 Wiki』でググってみてください。
出てくるサイト様にて、スクエニよりクオリティの高い翻訳がされています。

その他、字幕以外の各メニューなどの英語は
『Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 2 ＠ wiki』様が懇切丁寧にまとめています。
大抵の不明点はここで解決するでしょう。

これらのページを見ながらゲームを楽しむのは面倒かもしれませんが、
少なくともこのゲームを木曜洋画劇場のような雰囲気でプレイするのは
お勧めできません。生の声、生の言語でプレイして下さい。
欲を言えば、英語音声・日本語字幕だった前作をプレイして欲しい。
造りのほとんどが今作と同じのため、一通りのノウハウが理解できるし、
何よりなぜ今回、ここまで吹替への批判が多いのか理解頂けると思います。

日本語吹替版は、「字幕を読む暇がない」という人の問題解決と引き換えに
圧殺されてしまう魅力があまりに大き過ぎます。アジア版を強くお勧めします。

スクエニは何を考えているのかわかりません。吹き替えにするなんてバカじゃないですか。だいたい誤訳ならわかりますけど誤吹き替えはないですよ。例えば、「10seconds」←(着弾まで10秒という意味)があるのですが日本版だと「10びょおぉぉ」と叫んでいます。はっきり言ってスクエニにはがっかりさせられました。皆さんよ〜く考えてから買った方がいいですよ。
