「公的抑圧」や「アフター・サーヴィス」を初めて聴いた時と同じ印象を持ちました。かれらの公式ライブアルバムは、臨場感を犠牲にしてでもレコードとしての音の完成度を求めているのだなあという印象です。だから、そこがいいという人もいるだろうし、そこが物足りないという人もいるかもしれない。 前半はラップトップ/エレクトロニカ系、後半は幸宏がドラムを叩く、という構成は昨年の横浜と同じ。ただし今回はCDのミックスを教授が担当しているせいか、ニカっぽいノイズ音が全体的に前に出ている感じです。観客の拍手や声はかなり控え目にしか入ってないので、そういう点ではあまりライブ盤っぽくはないです。 収録曲目は2枚ほぼ同内容ですが、GIJONのほうがノリやグルーブ感は断然あると思います。片方だけ買うならGIJONがおすすめかなと。LONDONはどこかリハーサルっぽい音や雰囲気。収録曲数の多さだけで選ぶならLONDONか。

　本作品(gijonymo)と同時発売のlondonymoを一緒に買っても飽きません。むしろ2作品を対で聴いてこそ心底楽しめると思います。2作品の比較はlondonymoのレビューに書きましたのでそちらをご覧頂けると幸いです。

　本作品での演奏は2007年5月19日の横浜パシフィコ（DVD HAS/YMO）から始まった一連の流れにおけるライブの完成型です。やっぱりYELLOW MAGIC ORCHESTRAはすごかった。

　1993年の再生ではアルバムTECHNODONをリリース、その後、東京ドーム公演が行われました。この時の演目はTECHNODONの曲を中心にした構成でしたが、アルバムアレンジ→ライブアレンジの変化が気持ち良かったのを覚えています。

　本作品を聴いて、当時のことを思い出しました。

　横浜パシフィコでは予想以上にオリジナリティの高いアレンジだったこともあり、既存曲のライブというより新作の発表という印象でした。それに対して本作品とlondonymoでは演奏全体がこなれてライブ感覚が強くなっています。その関係性がアルバム→ライブアレンジに似た感覚だったのかもしれません。

　londonymoとgijonymoのどちらを「先に」買うか？お悩みならlondonymoをお勧めします。そのあとgijonymoを聴いてライブバンドの熟成を楽しんでください。

　どちらか「一方だけ」を買うなら2008年の完成型であるgijonymoをお勧めします。しかし2作品とも聴いて頂くことを最強にお勧めします。

　評価は（londonymoと同じく）浮かれ気分で☆5つです。

この音作りはいいと思いますね。
ＹＭＯ時代よりもずっといいと僕は思う。
ファンクっぽいノリがありますね。
バックのフェネスがいいサポートしていると思います。
管楽器の音もいい。
