一足早く輸入版で購入しましたので、そのインプレを。全体の印象は、前作「Casino Royale」のイメージを残しています。さらっと聞くと、前作なみかそれ以上に印象に残る曲が少ないですが、多分、映画を観た後聞くと大きく印象の変わるアルバムであろうと思います。
主題歌は、ラストに挿入されており、前作のYou Know My Nameとは全く違うデュエット曲です（コカコーラCMでも使われているのですでに耳にした人も多いはず）。
前作ではなかったJames Bondのテーマのフレーズ挿入は、今作では至る所に出てきますが、まだ完全ではなく、Bondのキャラクターが映画中で未完成であることを示しているような気がします。前作の続編を思わせるのは、12”What’s keeping you awake”、15”Forgive Your self”、 24”I never left”では前作の”Vesper”のピアノフレーズの一部がそのまま使われているところで、これもBond映画史上あまりない使い方でしょう。今回の映画がVesperの復讐を中心に描かれているというので、Vesperの回想シーンに使われる曲だと思います。映画が公開になったらBGMを注意しながら見るのも面白いかも。また、19 ”Oil Field”は、ボンドガールがオイルまみれにされて殺されるシーンのBGMなのでしょうが、ゴールドフィンガーのオマージュのせいか、よく聞くとゴールドフィンガーのBGMのフレーズが一部使われているようです。個人的には1. Time To Get Outと2. The Palioがリズミカルでよい曲に思います。Casino Royale同様、映画の出来がよければ、音楽の出来栄えもよく感じるであろう一作です。映画を観て、気に入ったら買ってもよい1枚かも。

事前に購入して、楽曲を頭に叩き込んでから映画本編を観に行きました。
鑑賞後に改めてこのサントラを聴いて、気付いた事を書いてみます。

まず嬉しかったのは、このアルバム、
ある1曲以外は全て、本編で流れた曲順に収録されています。
サントラってある意味、曲を聴きながら映画本編を追体験したい想いがあるので、
これは良い配慮に感じました。

あと僕が気付いた限りで、未収録曲が3曲ほどあるようです。
まずオペラ劇中のシーンで使われた曲は、
収録しようが無かったのかも知れませんが、
とてもエモーショナルで痺れるシーンだったので、
その部分だけでも収録して欲しかったです。
盟友フィリックスとの密会後、逃げるシーンの曲も、
短いシーンのせいか、入ってませんでした。
それと、ネタばれになるので触れませんが、もう1曲。
この3曲を入れた『完全版』が出るのを心待ちにしたいです。

本編を観る前は、1、7、17曲目などの、
アクション・シークエンスで使われている楽曲が印象に残りますが、
本編鑑賞後は逆に、12、15、18曲目などの静かな楽曲が、えらく心に沁みます。
映画のそのシーンを思い出して鳥肌が立つほど、綺麗な綺麗な曲が多いですね。
特に個人的にお気に入りは、15曲目。
前作のヴェスパーのテーマをとても良質にアレンジしてあります。

何にせよ、観るより先に聴いてて良かったと思えるサントラでした。
これから劇場へ行かれる予定の方は、
その前に是非、このサントラを何回か聴いてから、
足を運ばれると宜しいかと思います。
