ここのレビューでは多人数で遊べば楽しいと書いてありますが、私は1人遊んだ場合について書かせて頂きます。
まずストーリーモードですがパーティーモードの合間にちょっと話があって基本はパーティモードと似ていました。そのパーティーモードで勝利したらボスと対決するミニゲームをプレイするという感じでした。まぁ少し飽きます。
パーティーモードは前作と同じでサイコロを全員振ったらミニゲームをやるというものでした。不満だったところはプレイするマップによってスターのもらえる条件が違うことです。例えばあるマップでは自分がコインを40枚持っていてスターが20枚で交換できるのですが40枚コインを持っていることにより2つスターをゲットできるのです。前作ではスターは1個までと決まっていましたがそこが残念です。
パズルモードはテトリスのようなものがあります。個人的に楽しいものです。飽きませんし。
ミニゲームはたくさんあるのはいいのですが楽しくないものや面倒くさいものもあります。1人でやる場合ミニゲームを？の状態から出すまでは楽しいのですが全部出たらもうやる気にはなりません。全部ミニゲームを出したら飽きます。注意してください。
このようにいろいろといいましたが基本1人プレイは多少飽きます。やはり皆様の言うとおり多人数です。

マリオパーティは大好きで発売日にさっそく買いました☆楽しいです!1人でも全然楽しめます!ミニゲームもDSならではのものもあって良いです☆パズルゲームもあるし、全く飽きそうにありません(笑)
コレクションやエムブレムもあって可愛いです(o^-')b
一つのソフトで4人まで遊べるので気軽にみんなでやることができると思います♪

　子供の誕生日プレゼントとして購入。自宅でさっそくダウンロードの多人数プレイを試してみました。

　やっぱり対人対戦は面白いです。ここのゲームが規模が小さく短い時間で決着が付くので飽きる暇がない、もし飽きても「やるのもだるい」と思わせないくらいの良質なゲームソフトだと思います。
　固定のゲーム機に比べて演出がしょぼいというコメントもあるようですが、このゲームはやはり多人数でやってこそだと思いますので、携帯できるDSだからこそわいわいと楽しめる利点はやはり捨てがたいと思います。(Wii版はそれはそれで楽しいでしょうが)

　敢えて難点を言うならCOMが弱すぎます。もう少し頑張ってほしいなぁ。
