今回のオフスプ中々の佳作です。プロデューサーのボブ　ロックさんの仕事が最高に光ってます。ボブさんは他作品ではオーバープロデュース気味な印象を与えるぐらい俺色が濃いＰです。ですが、今回デクスターとピッタリかみ合ったようでして、曲がどれもしっかり練られています。「売れる音」ということよ〜く知っている御仁ですね。どんな人が聞いても聞きやすく起承転結まとめられていて完成度の高い作品だと思います。さすがメタリカでブラックアルバムを担当しただけある。もちろんオフスプが努力した結果であると思いますが、洗練という言葉が似合うアルバムです。あまり、パンクであるとかないとかは、意味がないように思います。聞いた人がパンクだと思えば、パンクだし、ポップだと思えばポップだと思います。それで良いのだと思います。

時代のせいか曲調に変化があるが
かなり良い仕上がりになってますね
以前の曲調だと似た物が増えてきてましたし
この変化はまさに実力
パンク　メロコア
よくジャンル分けされますが
ジャンルに捕われるのはハッキリ言って下らない
ジャンル分けなど探しだす為のものでしかない
良い物は良い　悪い物は悪い
たったそれだけ

パンク好きはオフスプリング聴かない？
それも自由

5.0 out of 5 stars 過去のアルバムと比べ大人しくなった感じだけど、出来に関しては◎, 2009/7/16
彼らのアルバムって明るく荒々しい感じの曲を聴かしてくれたけど、本作(今のところ新作)はこれまでと比べ大人しくなった感じだと思います。まぁ、4曲目に収録されている“ハンマー・ヘッド”はノリノリでヘッドバンキングにピッタリな曲、7曲目の“クリスティー・アー・ユー・ドゥーイング・オーケイ?”はアコースティックを利かしたバラードで聞いている内に目頭を熱くさせます。
アルバムに対する出来は悪くはなく、しかし、本来の彼らの音楽性を期待をしている人には物足りないかも知れません。
え? そんな僕はどうかって? う〜ん、彼らのファンとして物足りないな、と思う部分はあるけど、これはこれは良く、いや、良い作品だと思いますよ。
