英会話の学習ソフトはいろいろやりましたが、どれも途中で飽きてしまって最後までやり遂げられていません。
もちろん私の根気のなさが一番の原因ですが・・・
海外にいく予定もなく、身近にネイティブの人がいるでもなく、実際に英語を使う機会がない私にとっては、明確な目標もなくただただ学習のための英語になってしまいます。
ところが、このソフトでははっきりとした目的があります。
Marshの記憶を取り戻すこと。
この話のエンディングを迎えるために英語を使うのです。
まるでネイティブの子供と会話をするようにMarshに話しかけたり、質問にこたえたり・・・
Marshのリアクションもとてもかわいい！
いくつかの選択肢から選んで文章を作るので、思うように自分が話したい言葉が見つかるわけではありませんが、それでも今までの英語学習ソフトのことを思えば自由度はかなり高い。
間違った英語を使えばMarshに無視されたりして・・・
エンディングまでのボリュームが少し少ない気がしますし、エンディングを迎えてしまうと一気にモチベーションが下がってしまいますが、それでも、優しい絵、ちょっと切ないストーリー、何よりMarshのかわらしさ・・・とても楽しめました。

レビューがあまりに良かったので買っちゃいました。
やってみて思った事は、勉強じゃなくてゲームなんだということ。
私は同時にえいご漬けも購入したのですが、あれは本当にえいご漬けって感じですね。
あのゲームを30分やって疲れたあとに、Marshをやってるのですが癒されます。
同じ英語なのに、楽しいです。
こちらから好きな文で話しかけられるのがいいですね。
ただ、もう少し発音勉強もしたかったかな。
あと、他の方も書いてますがミニゲームで使うタイピングがやりにくい。
キーボードの位置がいまいち混乱してしまい、即座に打てない。
先にえいご漬けをやっているせいで、そのまま書きたい衝動に駆られます。
しかし、ミニゲームでしか使わないのでそこまで気にする点ではないかな？

英語をしっかりやりたい方は、えいご漬けなどの方が向いてるかもしれませんね。
息抜き程度に英語をやりたい方にはピッタリだと思います。
あ、あと育成ゲームが苦手な方にはMarshは合わないでしょう。
あくまで英語を使った育成ゲームです。

純粋に英語をゲームに昇華させた作品。
「英語を学ぶ」というコンセプトではなく、
「英語に触れる」「楽しむ」
というコンセプトが非常に良い。

また、「ゲーム」としてみても完成度が非常に高い。

大手メーカー以外のＤＳソフトが駄作ばかりのなかで、
このような意欲作が希少価値が高い。
