私はまだ学生なのですが
現在40代後半の父がおりまして、幼稚園くらいの時に父の持っていた野球盤で一緒に遊んでいた記憶があります。

まもなく50周年記念モデルの野球盤が発売されるそうですが、私は迫力のある野球盤メガスタジアムを選びました。
本体の縦横サイズは60×60cmとインパクトがあり、はじめて見る人はきっと驚かれますよ。
ただ長所は短所でして「メガ」の名に恥じず、置き場所にちょっと…困るかもしれません。私はそこに期待していたので満足ですけど(笑)
数種類発売されている野球盤の中で、この機種の特徴としてキャッチャーから自動で返球してくれる装置がついていています。
人工芝なのも良い感じですよ、スコアボードは手書きだけど。

最近のおもちゃは機能が充実している分、作りがデリケートになっていると思います。
特にこういったモノは将来まで遊べるよう、大事に使っていきたいですね。

いろいろ検討した結果、このメガスタジアムに決めました。
外野に人工芝が張ってあること、
キャッチャーからの返球がボタン一つで自動であること、
バッターが左右に変えられること、
電気仕掛けじゃないこと
などが決め手になりました。
しかし、実際に遊んでみて、一番凄いのはやはり大きさ。
これだけ大きいとやはり迫力が違います。

ＳＢＯのカウントもつけ易いし、
その回に入った点数を一時的に記録しておけるカウンターも付いて便利です。
盗塁を宣言しルーレットでと成功不成功を決めるのも面白いシステムですね。
スコアボードは手書きで書き入れるようになっていますが、
面倒なので結局ノートにつけてます。

ほぼ満足していますが、
あえて希望を言うなら、
少々点が入りやす過ぎること、
ヒット、アウトなどのポケットに入ったボールも自動で返球できるともっといいのに
と思いました。

他のレビューにもありますがビッグサイズで迫力があります。（置き場に困るかも。）球種はストレート・カーブ・シュート・フォークボールと揃ってますが、スピードコントロールしにくいです。緩急つけにくく単調なボールになりやすいため、タイミングを合わせ易くバッター優位ですね。（ホームランがたくさん出ます）
人形は本格的で特にピッチャーとバッターが良いですね。ただし、あまりに酷使したため、バッターが持つバットが折れてしまいました。（製造元にスペアをオーダー（有料）して復活！）２０１０年のプロ野球開幕が待ち遠しいです。
