出張中の飛行機で映画版を観てその面白さに驚愕し、その後２日間でテレビ版（全１１話）を一気に観ました。作劇の巧みさ、出演陣の好演技、素晴らしい音楽、どれをとっても文句なしの出来栄えで、何度も呵呵大笑させられました。（特に、中央に会議スペースを、周辺に各検事の取り調べ室を配した（現実にはあり得ないであろう）城西支部のレイアウトと松たか子の木村拓哉を食ってしまうほどの力演は特筆すべき。）いろいろな観方はあるのでしょうが、刑罰の応報性や被害者視点の重視、確固たるヒューマニズムをはじめとしていわば刑法総論的視点もしっかりしていると思う。

スペシャルが入っていないのは、どうしても怪しい。踊るの完全BOXのように劇場版DVDの発売時にすべてを網羅したBOXが出る可能性が高いような気がします。

4:3スタンダードTVサイズの画面に、あぁ、そんな前(地上デジタル放送開始前!)の作品なんだったなぁと、ちょっとしみじみ。
しかし、今見ても全く遜色無い底なしの面白さ、レギュラー・ゲストとも今は考えられない豪華キャストの快演、
6年も経った今映画化される程の底力に、見始めるともう止まりません！

この商品自体は2001年発売のBOXを外装を変えた(トールケースサイズのスリムBOXに）だけのリニューアル版。
通販番組総集編も面白かったけど、今だったら当たり前に収録されるメイキング映像やインタビューは無し。
2006年放送の、中井貴一出演のスペシャル番組も未収録。
劇場版鑑賞前の総復習に購入したので、未見だったSPが無かったのはキツい！

そんな私と同じ状況の方には、
劇場版詳細だけでなくSPを含めたTV版総復習と、全レギュラー陣のインタビューを収録した「HERO OFFICIAL BOOK」も併せての購入がオススメです。

･･･でも、スペシャルもいつかDVD化して下さいね。
