恐らく展開としてはガンダム作品中最もスピーディーで良質な部類に入ります。
意図としてはボーイミーツガールです、彼は彼女と出会うことで変わり、彼女も彼と出会って変わりました。
しかしその中に重厚な戦争描写、そして戦争に蔓延する狂気。敵にも味方にも蔓延しています。
その渦中、戦争の意義、信念、そして自分の大切なものそれを見出そうとする彼はそして彼女はとてもとても美しかったです。
さらに最後には、劣化版ラルと言われているノリス様。そんなことはありません。彼は神です
いや、カッコいいですよ、グフカスタム。男の大きさを教えてくれるのはやはりグフですよ。（某黄色いグフさんは大きさの欠片も見せずに散りましたが）
ノリスを見るためだけに買うと言うのもあり。

最近発売されたファーストガンダムと同じような、カチッと閉まらない紙っぽいパッケージです。
このパッケージはなんとなく耐久性に疑問があるし、DVDがケースから外れて転がっていきそうな不安感があってあまり好きではありません。
こういう紙っぽいパッケージでもVガンダムの時のように薄くコンパクトにするようなメリットがあればまだいいんですが分厚くてソフトも取り外しにくくて割ってしまいそうだし…
作品内容的には問題ないんですが、パッケージの仕様が好きではありません。

08小隊のHDﾘﾏｽﾀｰ5.1ch版。0083と違い声の再収録は行なわれていない。OVAｼﾘｰｽﾞ中「ﾗｽﾄ･ﾘｿﾞｰﾄ」も入っており（「ﾐﾗｰｽﾞ･ﾘﾎﾟｰﾄ」は未収）ｼﾛｰ･ｱﾏﾀﾞとｱｲﾅ･ｻﾊﾘﾝの物語としてはすべてが含まれている。
5.1ch化されたことにより、戦闘の音響についてはより迫力を増しており、ｹﾞﾘﾗ戦や要塞戦のｼｰﾝはより一層楽しめる。
「震える山」前編のﾉﾘｽのｸﾞﾌｶｽﾀﾑとの対決は必見！
やはりﾉﾘｽや08小隊ﾒﾝﾊﾞｰ等脇役のかっこよさの光るいい作品である。
