どうも収録されている曲は、ほとんどがアルバムに収録されているバージョンではなく、短い（Radio Edit?)バージョンのようです。
曲数の関係か、5分以上の曲はすべて4分かそれ以下の長さになっています。
個人的にCanned Heatはアルバムバージョンが好きだったのですが、聴いてみると曲の長さからして 7" Editでした。
ちょっと残念です。
まあRunawayとRaido、あとDVD目当てというところでしょうか。

選曲についてはそれぞれの意見があるとは思いますが、個人的には８０点といった所でしょうか？（スペース・カウボーイとシンクロナイズドからの曲が少なすぎかな）一応リマスターされてる点も評価したいと思います。
　それと賛否はあるかと思いますが、Deeper...とSeven Days...、そして元々SINGLE EDITの存在しないWhen You Gonna Learn以外の曲（新曲２曲も除く）は全てEDITバージョンで収録されています。
とは言え、オフィシャルのシングルではEDITバージョンでは発売されなかったEmergency...やアルバム・バージョンのEDITが入手が非常に困難なCorner...はコレクターズ・アイテムと言えるかもしれません。（ただVertiual Insanityは、通常のEDITバージョンのオープニングのＳＥを削っているバージョンで、確かに初リリースではありますが、ほんの数秒を削ったところで収録時間に何の影響も無いので、何故そこまでしたのかは理解に苦しみます。）
　あとせっかくリリース順にリストされてるので、国内盤のボートラHalf The ManもちゃんとSpace CowboyとVertual Insanityの間に入れて欲しかったですね。
それともうひとつボートラに関してですが、日本向けの曲ならラジオのチャート・アクションが大きかったstillness In Time（J-WAVEではNo.1でした）か、KIDSの日本のみでリリースされたシングル・バージョン（海外ではかなり人気のアイテムですし。）の方がふさわしいと私は思っております。
　最後にもうひとつ文句を垂れるなら、ＤＶＤベスト（目下輸入盤のみ）がリリースされます。そうなるとこの日本盤の価値としてはHalf The man(Edit)のみです。

追記:輸入盤のＤＶＤベストには新曲Runawayが入ってないので、このアイテムの価値はHalf The Man(Remastered/Edit)とRunawayのクリップの２つですね。

ジャミロクワイって初期は『地球が危ない』みたいなシリアスなメッセージソングが多く、だんだんノー天気で何も考えて無いアッパーな曲が増える印象だったけど、割と演奏や楽曲のクオリティは一定して高い。

二枚目の『SPACE COWBOY』が奮わなかったから一発屋のような印象もあったけど、改めて聴くとほとんどラジオでヘビーローテーションされてた曲だし、十年近く第一線でやってるのはすごいと思う。

リマスタリング技術も高く、十年以上前の曲も今年の曲も全く違和感無く収められてる。
同時期発売の、過去の音源をそのまま半端に並べただけのオアシスのベストより良心的。

最近のベスト盤はやたらレアトラックとか付けてダラダラ二枚組にして価格を吊り上げる傾向があるけど、個人的にこのCDは一枚のCDでスパッと完璧にジャミロクワイの魅力をパックしてるのが好感が持てる。

車の中とかに一枚置いておくと良いんじゃないかと思う。
