まりちゃんズ・・・藤岡孝章(通称=ジェフ、特技=でんぐり返し、ベーゴマ、メンコ)、尾崎純也(通称=スティーブ、特技=音程をちょびっとはずして唄うことが出来ること)、藤巻直哉(通称=ポール、特技=はずれた音程でもついていけること、特徴=色は茶色しか知らないこと)。この奇妙なトリオがまりちゃんズ。『ブスにもブスの生き方がある』という衝撃的な歌でデビュー。約1年半の活動中に3枚のシングルと2枚のアルバムを残したが、間もなくグループ活動停止。但し、解散宣言はしていない。

　1976年に2枚のアルバムと3枚のシングルを出し、所属していたエレックの倒産とともに消えたコミック・バンド「まりちゃんズ」のデビュー作です。90年代に2枚のベスト盤と新作「埋蔵盤」をリリースし、2005年以降の元まりちゃんズの二人による藤岡藤巻の活躍など再評価の機運の高まったところで初めてデビュー・アルバムがＣＤ化された、ということになります。
　まりちゃんズといえば、デビュー曲「ブスにはブスの生き方がある」も衝撃的でしたが、このアルバムの冒頭の♪僕はウンコをするたびに〜♪という強烈なインパクトのあるワルツ「まりちゃん」も素晴らしい。ごく普通の曲・全然面白くない曲がいくつもありますが、聴いていて気持ち悪くなってくるラストのホモ歌「男の世界」まで「普通と違う」曲が続き、結構楽しめます。
　なお、セカンド・シングル「ひがみブルース」のＢ面としてリリースされ、結果的にまりちゃんズで最大の認知度を誇る名曲となった「尾崎家の祖母」は、異なる歌詞で録り直しされていて、発表後に誕生日を迎えたためかサビが「尾崎んちのババアは73！」になってます。また現在「藤岡藤巻」のデビュー・シングルでカップリングされた「もうすぐ23」はここが初出です。あと藤巻の真面目な「編みかけのセーター」はどうきいても「およげ！たいたきくん」です。
　マニアのわたくしのお勧めですが、「まず1枚」買うととすれば「ベスト」を、「もっと知りたい」という人はベストに続けてこの「三巴狂歌」を買うのがいいと思います。
　なお、紙ジャケは並の出来ばえ。まともな解説は付いていません。オリジナルの歌詞カード（復刻版）にコード・ネームが付いています(この時代らしいですね)。
