果てしなく長く、遠く、壮大な物語の軌跡が、ＢＧＭという形で再び描かれる。収録された魂の楽曲たちを、順々に聞いていけば、我々が追いかけた高潔なる衛士たちの物語が、再び心の中で蘇えるはずだ。

途中で投げ出した者たちには分からないだろう、この感銘は。

最後まで戦い抜いた猛者たちには分かるはずだ、この感動が。

収録されている曲の中でも、「ストームバンガード」「絆」「オリジナルハイヴ」そして何よりも―――製作者たちの情熱が伝わってくる、「冥夜」。この四曲は特に心に響き、残っている。

死屍累々たるあの戦場を、武たちと共に駆け抜けた感動と興奮を思い出させてくれる「ストームバンガード」。
人と人とが紡ぎだす繋がりの大切さ、そして温かさを教えてくれた、「絆」。
真の敵の異様さ、そして強大さを目の当たりにした、あの時の衝撃を再び感じさせる、「オリジナルハイヴ」。

そして、もはや言葉は要るまい。生涯、私の心に残り続けるであろう彼女の名を冠した、優しく哀しい、魂の葬送歌。彼女の生き方と信念を、これほど見事に描ききった製作者の実力に、心から敬意を表したい。

失ったものは多い。痛ましい程に。されど、全ての戦いと哀しみを乗り越えて得た、あの世界は、全ての理想の具現のはずだ。

一つのゲームに、その楽曲に、これほど心を揺り動かされるとは思わなかった。私と心を同じくする者、まだ「あいとゆうきのおとぎばなし」を知らぬ者。

このサウンドトラックは、すぐにでも購入すべきだと、胸を張って言えます。

　サウンドトラック「ｖｏｌ．１」では、私なりに、こと細かく「やられっぷり」の様を、つらつらと書きましたが、この「ｖｏｌ．２」では、私が心から望んでいた待望のピアノソロが収録されており、そのスコアを、私なりに解読し、未熟の極みながら、なんとか習得するに至りました。

　実は、その必要性があったのです‥‥‥。

　タケルと純夏の、「お、サンタウサギ」「このコも、私と一緒に出撃するんだよ」のシーン、あの最期の丘‥‥‥‥。

　世に名曲は、数あれど、少なくとも、私は、私の親友同士が、幾多の障害から、結婚式も披露宴も行うことなく、ささやかに開かれた、祝いの席で、私は、この曲を捧げました。
　彼らも「マブラヴ・シリーズ」の投げかける魂の叫びに「必死で食らいて、投げ出さなかった」人たちでした。

　拙い技術で申し訳なく、それでも懸命に、あの曲を弾かせていただきました。
　ベタですが、彼らは泣いてくれました。

　この瞬間、マブラヴ・シリーズは、さらに、私の心にくい込む、大切な宝物、人生の一部になりました。
　客観的なレビューでなく、申し訳ありません。
　でも、このサントラを含めた全てのマブラヴは、私の一生の宝なのです。それに嘘はつけません。
　ありがとう‥‥‥マブラヴ。

ゲーム本編をやってる方ならご存知のとおり名曲揃いのサントラです。
ゲーム本編のほうは個人的にはゲーム史上最高の感動をもらいました。

最終決戦で流れるヒロインの一人の名前からとった「冥夜」と
メインヒロインである純夏との涙なくして語ることができないシーンで流れる「旅立つ君に」には大作RPG、大作映画にまったく引けをとらないクラスの名曲だと思います。この曲を聞くだけで涙が溢れる自分がここにいます。

他にも遠藤正明さんが歌う人類の存亡を掛けた最終決戦に臨む主人公達に捧げる魂の名曲「Carry On」（GAME　SIZE）
栗林みな実さんが歌うこのゲームのタイトルの真の意味がわかるEDテーマ「マブラヴ」も収録されています。どれも後世に残したいぐらいの名曲です。また挿入歌は本編では抜群のタイミングで流れるので、ゲームをやったことがない人は是非本編で聴いてみてください。
