南木佳士は、私の一番大好きな作家・・・阿弥陀堂だよりは映画でみそこねてしまったのでdvdで鑑賞！そして加古隆の音楽に出会いました。おりしもtv

で白い巨塔が放映中で、「ああ、この人なんだ！」と感激！両cdを購入。阿弥陀堂だよりのこのサウンドトラックは、映画の世界を広げ支えると共に、音楽そのものとして大自然の中に私たちを包んでくれる・・・素敵なサウンドです！聴いていると私は森の緑の小道にいたり、霧に包まれた朝もやの中にいたり、祭りの風景の中にいたりする事ができるのです。この優しい音楽に出会って下さい！

とてもしっとりとした曲が多くて、一度聞いたら忘れられません。
信州の四季の自然の映像と、加古さんの音楽が見事に溶け合って、心の中に染み込んできます。日本の現代の社会に生きる現代人が病んでいる心と身体を信州の自然と加古隆さんの音楽が人間復活を暗示するものになっています。

映画自体も良かったですが、この曲があってこそ「活きた」といっていいと思いました。曲だけを聴くと、「あのシーンの心情とはこんな感じだったんだ」といったような感情が芽生えます。映画を見る時点では映像が主となってしまいますが、曲だけを聴いて思いに浸るのもなかなかのものです。
サントラ全体ではおとなしく落ち着いた雰囲気ですが、心が疲れた時などはサラッと聞いてみるのもいいです。
