はっきりといってオープニングには相応しくないけれど、でもテーマソングにはぴったりの曲です。
ポップのリズムで弱くそして時に強く歌い上げる、不思議な感じを持っています。
恐らくというか間違いなく、あのキャラクターのイメージで歌い上げているのでしょう。
繰り返される４日間だけの聖杯戦争。
決して途絶えることなく機械のように繰り返されるそれが、
悪夢のように感じられる時もあれば、また考え方次第では楽園にも感じられてしまう。
その様なことを何度も繰り返し聞いているうちに思ってしまいました。
押しが弱い曲のせいか、何度繰り返し聞いても何故か嫌にならず、
その内この曲自体が繰り返される虚ろな楽園に思えてきてしまいました。
「君の名前だけは失くしたくないから(失くしてしまいそう)」の歌い方が、泣き出しそうな感じに聞こえてきて、だからというのも変なのですけれど一番好きな部分だったりします。

『僕たちの未来』の方はロックのリズム。軽快なテンポを高めの声で歌い上げていきます。
こちらもなかなかお勧めできる歌です。

本編Fate/stay nightのマキシシングルがオリコンチャート１０位以内に入るという正直全く信じれないような出来事がありました。
いよいよ外伝Fate/hollow ataraxiaと発売日を同じくしてＯＰ、ＥＤを収録したマキシシングルが発売されます。
この曲は体験版で流れるＰＶでサビ部分を聞いただけですが、それだけでも前作を越える出来だというのは分かりました。
ですがまあ、ほとんどの方が曲の完成度関係なくソフトと一緒に購入しそうですけど。

かっこよさで、一番。
ゲームのテーマ曲にもかかわらず、オリコン3位。
ゲームをプレイして、すぐに買いました。
多分、ゲームや、アニメの音楽の評価を大きく変えるこの曲。
時代の変革と言っても、よいかもしれません。
