この曲自体はナムコの「ワンダーモモ」という女性ヒーローアクションゲームのＢＧＭなのだそうな。
それに桃井はるこさんが歌詞をつけて一つの曲にしたのがこれ！
（で、そのゲームは特撮ヒーローショーをモチーフとした独特の世界観と、
酷い操作性により一部で話題になったらしい）
ワンダーモモというゲームは元はアケゲー、その後ＰＣエンジンに移植
（この時点でかなりレトロな空気が）さらにその後ＰＳ２の『NAMCO×CAPCOM』にも登場したというので、
ほんとに細々と活躍するキャラクターといった感じ。
しかしそのような背景がわかってくると、曲の冒頭にあのファミコンなどで耳に馴染んだピコピコ音があるのも納得の演出だ！

しかもこの曲は、ナムコの音ゲー『太鼓の達人８』にてタイアップされプレイ可能。
だから　太鼓ドンドン、ひびけカッカッ　という歌詞なのね。

曲そのものは、上述のゲームピコピコ音から始まり、美少女アニメを思わせるようなイントロへ。
それからちょっとスカっぽい裏打ちになったかと思いきや、サビ前で
へんしーん！
そこからはまた雰囲気がガラッと変わってまさに変身。軽くメタルかロック。
桃井はるこさんの声の変わり様も目を見張るものがあるというか、もう笑うしかないのだがこれだけ変化に富んだ曲だと、ヘビロテしてもなかなか飽きないものだｗ
個人的には、
「さみしいときには アニソンでシャウトして　涙吹き飛ぶわ」
というあたりに共感しきりｗ
カラオケで力強くシャウトして３次元世界のしがらみから解き放たれるつもりで
ストレス発散できます。

「がんがりまーす☆」 の掛け声で始まります。
歌詞は
「ひそかに夢見た正義の味方 わたしがなれちゃうなんてね
まさかほんとに？　ネタじゃないの？ ....」
って感じで始まり、モモーイパワー全開です。
ロリ声と大人声の使い分けが凄い！
途中で「へんしーん」しますよ。この人。
さすがモモーイ。ガンガレモモイ！

アルバム「ナムコゲームグラフティvol.2」で話題を呼んだ歌詞付のワンダーモモのゲームミュージックのアレンジを桃井はるこがカバーし今に蘇った。
当時を知る人も知らない人もモモーイの歌で盛り上がれ！！
