誰もがご存知の元祖・格闘ゲームのイーアルカンフーですが、アーケード版をプレイしたことが無い方にとっては雰囲気が全然違うと思われるでしょう。ファミコン版では敵キャラは５人ですが、オリジナルの方では総勢１１人の敵キャラが登場します。
さらに主人公(ＯＯＬＯＮＧ)はレバーの入力方向とパンチ・キックの各ボタンとの組み合わせによって１６種類の必殺技が出せます。
敵キャラにはファミコン版の元になったキャラをはじめ、トンファー使い、剣使い、扇使い等が登場しバラエティー豊かで楽しいです。でもステージ１に出てくるのはファミ版ラスボスの（ＭＵ）ではなく、（ＢＵＣＨＵ）です。扇子女、トンファー野郎でよくてこずった！
このイーアルカンフーがアーケードでリリースされた１９８５年当時、私は小学生だったのですが、ゲーセンでコワーイ中高生のお兄さん達（笑）に阻まれて満足にプレイ出来無かった思い出があり、その為その後すぐにリリースされたファミコン版のほうがデビューは先でした。その他スパルタンＸとよく比較されてたなぁ~。ラスボスの（ＢＬＵＥＳ）とミスターＸとか。。。
まぁ、そんな私的思い出があるイーアルカンフーなんですが、オールドゲームファンやコレクターでプレイしたい方は『オレたちゲーセン族』で購入するよりも、手に入るのであれば、『コナミ８０ｓギャラリー』の方をお勧めします。イーアルカンフー単品＋αにこの値段はもったいない。＋α要らないのでその分安くしてほしい。あとファミ版経験のみの方、２０年前のゲームである為それなりの操作性は覚悟してください。個人的には好きなので星４つ。
