3枚目のアルバムで、ディスターブドは予想されたパターンを打ち破って自分たちの潜在能力を示すことはあまりできなかった。ファンはこのバンド特有のこぶしを叩きつけるような激しい曲を熱望していたが、オープニングのアンセミックなタイトル曲と「I’m Alive」（邦題「アイム・アライヴ」）、「Forgiven」（邦題「フォーギヴン」）には満足できるだろう。バンドが一番輝いているのはアルバムの最初のほうで、「Deify」（邦題「ディーファイ」）や「Guarded」（邦題「ガーデッド」）、「Just Stop」（邦題「ジャスト・ストップ」）、「Stricken」（邦題「ストリッキン」）では、このユニットが歌の微妙な部分をとらえることや公民権を剥奪された分譲地居住者の魂を高揚させるラジオ向きのコーラスもできるバンドだということを示している。このアルバムには欠点もないわけではない。中盤の「Suns of Plunder」（邦題「サンズ・オブ・プランダー」）に来ると、ヴォーカルのデイヴィッド・ドレイマンもバンドメンバーも予想したとおりというところに陥って、いい曲ではあっても第1幕に見られたような注目すべき点はほとんどなくなっていく。とはいえ、『Ten Thousand Fists』（邦題『テン・サウザンド・フィスツ』）は最終的に、ディスターブドは偉大さを目指す旅路の歩みをゆるめようとはしていないのだとあらためて思わせてくれた。（Jedd Beaudoin, Amazon.com）

ほとんどの曲が聴きやすくコンパクトにまとまっているが、
どの曲もドラマティックで大作を聴いているような気がする。
全14曲56分だが退屈せずに聴き通すことができるだろう。

メロディー、楽曲構成、サウンド、歌、メッセージなど
あらゆる面で説得力が増し、バンドの成熟が感じられる。
彼らの音楽に対する誠実さとメタルに対する敬虔さが
ひしひしと伝わってくる好盤。

ジャンルにこだわらず多くの人に聴いてもらいたい一枚だ。

凄まじい鋼鉄メタル。
１曲目からボルテージ全快な爽快曲で幕をあけます。アグレッジブな曲はよりアグレッジブにメロウな曲はよりメロウに進化を遂げた印象を受けました。本年度出た数多あるアルバムの中でもTOP10には確実に入る出来なのでは？

喧しい音楽は嫌いだ！という人意外に聞かせると間違いなくカッコいいと思わせるメロディ・VOが本当に凄い。

徹頭徹尾なメタルが聴きたい方一度試されては？

　うわー。なんか一曲目からもうかっこいいし。。。
　そりゃ、試聴器で一曲目聴いた瞬間に「買い」ということしか頭に浮かびませんでした。
　今回は、派手に激しい曲が多いのがこのアルバムの特徴ではないでしょうか。
　そしてよりメタル的硬さのある曲が増えたなというのが私の印象です。
　そしてこのバンドがメタルバンドだなということを再認識させてくれるアルバムであると思います。

　まぁ一曲目からいきなりテンションMAXな感じですが、そこからPVが結構流れてる5.Strickenまでぶっ通しで聴いて、そのまま最後までこのアルバムにの展開に酔いしれることになるでしょう。
　私はこのアルバムでは、やはり一曲目のジャケットにもあるように1.10,000 fistsにメッタメッタにやられました。
　ってかジャケの絵（スポーンかいてる人の絵らしいのですが）かっこよすぎです。

　このアルバムはギターをジャンジャン鳴らすロックファンには本当にたまらない、内容になってると思います。
　まぁメタルなこの声が嫌いな人にはもちろんお勧めしません。

　重い、硬い、激しい、泣ける。よいです。

　ただ、私が彼らの中で一番好きな曲はRememberなのですが、今回はそういった曲が見受けられなかったので、☆４つということでお願いします。

激しい、重い、という評価が多い様に思われますが、自分的にはメロディに殺られました。Vo.のキレは相変わらずでサイコーです。13曲目歌いまくりです。
