5.0 out of 5 stars テクノだけど哀愁, 2005/7/30
クラフトワークの78年の作品です。邦題の人間解体というちょっと硬いイメージとは裏腹に今ではジャケットや音も含めてなんかユーモラスな感じがします。個人的にクラフトワークの面白い所はヨーロッパ的な哀愁のメロディーが電子楽器で奏でられていて、ミニマルではなくどちらかと言えばポップスな所だと思います。有名なボコーダで歌われる「WeAreTheRobots」のフレーズも今の耳だとレトロフューチャー感があふれてすごく良い感じです。真面目で堅物そうなイメージのドイツ人がもみあげを剃り、当時では最新の電子楽器を使って哀愁のピコピコ音を作っているというのが、テクノの「音を楽しむ」という本質をかっこよく、そしてユーモラスに見せてくれたと思います。

当時テクノポップというジャンルの中で唯一異彩をはなっていたのが、クラフト・ワークだろう。（ＹＭＯは個人的趣味ではずします）
コンピューター音から表現される音？音楽？には当時は相当なショックを受けました。
テーマの人間解体。「ロボット」ではじまり「マン・マシーン」で終ることにも意味があると思います。
アシモなどが出てきて、シンセサイザーの音などは当たり前の今では、「何だ、この音？」という感想もあると思いますが、
当時聞きながら、言われ始めた「人間性の喪失」という言葉と重ね合わせたことを思い出します。
多分、現在では「人間性の喪失」という事が当たり前になってしまったので、感じないかもしれませんが、今の時代を予測していた先駆的作品です。

5.0 out of 5 stars 『テクノ史における最高傑作』としかいえません, 2005/8/3
ようやく「テクノ」が前衛音楽的なものから一端のジャンルとして認められかけてきた頃、そのジャンルの位置づけを確実なものにしたアルバムがこれです。
このアルバムが全世界で(ほぼまんべんなく)バカ売れしたおかげで、
「Kraftwerkにつづけ」とばかりに
さまざまなテクノアーティスト達が数多く生まれてきました
日本では「YMO」というグループが生まれました

それにしても「YMO」のみなさんは本当にKraftwerkに影響を与えられたようで、
「Rydeen」のPVで全くの無表情でシンセをたたきまくる某教授などの映像は
あきらかにKraftwerkからきたものでしょう

ちなみにこのあたりからこの四人組は神格化されていきます
