放送当時、自分は幼稚園児でしたがこの作品の強烈な印象は未だに忘れられません！
原始時代に生きる主人公家族の（名前は覚えていませんが）笑いあり、涙あり、ドタバタ騒動ありのやかま楽しい日常を描いてる作品。
その中でも、強烈に残っているのはあの美味しそうなマンモスのお肉を食べあさる家族の姿ですね。見事に骨しか残らない豪快な食べっぷりに子供ながらウットリしましたもの。
その当時、本気で『マンモスのお肉が食べたい』と思いましたね。
この作品を知ってる人にも知らない人にも、是非見てほしいおススメの傑作です！
何も考えないで笑えますから（笑）

僕は、確か小学生だったような気がします。土曜日にやっていて日本昔話とセットで見ていました。ビデオにもなくレーザーディスクでもなく、再放送もあまりやらず、小学生の時に見ていらい見ていません。しかし、映像やエンディングのテーマ曲など鮮明に記憶に残っています。あのアニメで、社会や団体生活、家族、生きる、死ぬという事を子供ながらに学んだ記憶があります。あれから30年近くたっていますが、どんな印象を受けるか発売まで楽しみです。今、子供たちにも見てもらいたい作品です。

なんか最近のアニメは（映画でも）妙にマニア受けするものが多いような気がするんです。
昔のアニメはよくも悪くもシンプルで誰が見ても面白く感じるものが多いように思えます。素直に面白いと体が反応する。
原始の時代のゴン少年や暖かい家族と自然の姿。もう一度観て楽しみたいものです。
