いや〜ふっとびました。どうせ今はやりのニュースクール〜MAメタル系だろうとタカをくくってたんだけど、オフィシャルサイトで#4のPVをみて一発でKOされ、速攻2ndと本作を購入しましたが・・かなりキテます！
にわか仕込みのパンク崩れバンドにはとうてい真似できないような、展開の多い曲構成に泣きまくりのギターと、真っ正面から王道HM/HRやってます。
かなりマニアックなことをやっているのに、いかにもアメリカンHRらしいカラっとした音づくりと印象的なリフ、フックありまくりのメロディラインや絶妙なアレンジセンスゆえ、決してクドくもクサくもならず、長い曲も一気に聞けてしまいます（捨て曲が一曲もない！）。アコギやオーケストラによる荘厳なSEも否が応でも曲を盛り上げてます。Voの独特の雰囲気といい、なぜか往年のG'N'Rを思い出してしまいました（似てないんだけどね）。
あえてご批判を承知で乱暴に例えさせてもらうなら、G'N'R　meets Helloweenと言ったところでしょうか？
とにかくHM/HRファンであればツボにはまりまくること請け合いです。こんな良質なアルバムの国内盤が発売されてないなんて・・日本のレコード業界ってつくづくHM/HRに愛がないんだなぁ・・

メタルコア、パンクの要素を含み、正統派の疾走、スラッシーなリフ、
ネオクラシックな味、民族音楽を含んだアコースティックギターの旨味等々、美味しいところが満載。
メロディはどこまでも泣かせてくれ、フレーズひとつひとつに手を抜いて作られているところなど感じない。
曲は長めではあるが、それを苦に感じさせたりしないのだから、彼らの今作での力量は前作を上回っているものと思う。
Vo.の声を重ねるのではなく、メンバーのコーラスの重なりがさらなるメロディアスさを増長し、琴線に触れさせてくれるところでもある。
ライヴ映えもしそうな彼らのこれからに期待したい。

ガンズ。メタリカ。メガデス。好きな方は有無を言わず
聞いてください。オレンジカウンテイのメタルバンドの
メジヤー移籍第一弾です。ボーカルのM SHADOWSは今まで
のハードコアパンク風のシヤウトをやめて唄に徹しています。
彼のバラードとかすごくいいので最高です。
