初代の本物ツクダオリジナルのものは色のシールがその色のプラスチックシートだったので、使い込んでも、一部がかけても基本の色が削れることはなかった。
この製品は白いシートに色が印刷してあって、そのうえにビニールコーティングがしてあるだけ、初日からめくれ始めて、障りごごちが悪いので、ビニルをめくろうとしようものなら、色もはがれてしまい使い物にならない。同じものなら交換しても結果は同じ。メーカーには色のシートを中までその色のシートに変えて欲しい。
ただ、おもちゃとしての面白さは発明以来変わってはいない。ロングセラーなのだから改悪しないで欲しい。

最初、値段が「高い」と気になっていました。
でも、よく調べてみると、かつてブームになった昭和50年代には、ルービックキューブは1,980円で売ってたそうです。
それに消費税5パーセントが加算されると、本商品の2,079円となるので、実質値上げはしてないようですね。
攻略本とセットの方を購入すれば、実質値下げともいえるでしょう。

手に入れてみると、懐かしさもあっていじくり倒して遊んでしまいました。
すると、三日もしたら塗装（シール）が剥げてきました。
オレンジ色の塗装（シール）の粘着力が弱いのか、ほとんどのシールが剥がれて白色になってしまいました。

安価な粗悪品（コピー商品）ではなく、正規のルービックキューブが、これほど脆いとは思いませんでした。
面白い商品なだけに、いじりまわして遊び続けるというのは必然でしょう。
そうして遊んでも簡単に塗装が剥げないように製造してくれないと、値段からいってもちょっと納得できませんね。

小学校の時に流行ったのをよく覚えています。この商品は、私の記憶が正しければ、まわした時の感触が、当時のものとはまったく違います。当時持っていたものは、キシキシとした感触でありながら、もっと滑らかにまわり、色のシールもこんなにすぐはがれるようなものではありませんでした。当時とメーカーが違うのでしょうか？それとも私の記憶にある商品はいわゆる「類似品」だったのかもしれませんが、あの当時の、ある種快感にも似た、まわした時の感触を思い出して衝動買いしたので、この引っかかるようなまわしにくい感触と、買ったその日に端がはがれ始めたシールには正直がっかりしました。
