何故かＧディフェンサーが付いていない。別売りの予定も無い。
スーパーガンダムに興味の無い人なら嬉しいんだろうけど、スーパーガンダムの発売未定の単体発売に何か釈然としない。

盾が折り畳めるようになったり、ギミックが増えていてＭＧは伊達じゃないです。
作られた時期が少し古いので、肩が前に出ないのでカッコイイポーズが取れませんがなかなかの出来です。
少し古い時期のＭＧなので、現行のＭＧに比べると自由に可動しない。
Ｖｅｒ．2.0の発売が待たれる。

　正に過渡期に登場したMGという感じで、いささか煮詰め不足な感が強い。各パーツ自体の形状はまあ良い。ただし上半身に比べて足が長すぎたり、足の中でもまた靴が異様に巨大だったり、肩が大きい割りに腕が短かったりと、各部のバランス取りに苦労が伺える。腰にバズーカをマウント出来るのだが、ちょっと動かすだけでポロポロ落ちるのは困ったもの。だが、別キットの紹介になるが、Gディフェンサーを背中にまとうスーパーガンダム状態では、アンバランスなプロポーションもベストプロポーションに変わるのだ。なるほど最初からスーパーガンダムを想定したプロポーションだったのか、と驚かされた。
　MK2自体はキット化に恵まれているMSだが、後年発売されたPGなりHG-UCでは、このアンバランスなプロポーションも改められ（特にPGは至極の一品）、非常に格好の良いものになっている。MGでも是非ともアップデートしたものが欲しいところだ。

大好きな機体なので、発売当初に喜んで購入。その時でさえ、カッコ悪い顔、甲高の足等々不満点の多いキットでした。

ですから、もう千円ちょっと奮発して、Ver.2.0を購入する方が無難だと思います。
Ver.2.0は傑作の部類に入るキットだと個人的には思ってますので。
