ファミコンの歴史について多くを語る必要はないと思いますが
今から初代の本体を購入しようとされる方はいくつか注意が必要です。

・RF接続である
昔懐かしい同軸ケーブルでの出力なので、接続には別途プラグが必要です。
また、テレビと両立させるためにはRFスイッチを用意する必要があります。

・コントローラのケーブルが短い
最近のゲーム機と比べると驚くほど短いので、本体をラックに収めてプレイすることはまず不可能です。
昔と同じようにテレビの前にファミコンを設置し、その前に座ってのプレイを強要される事になります。

・コントローラーのケーブルが横から出ている
今では完全にコントローラーのケーブルは上から出すことが定着していますが
初代のコントローラーは1Pなら左、2Pなら右から出ていますので
普通に持つと手と干渉してなんとも持ちづらいです。

使用感の少ないものでも経年劣化は避けられませんし
初代の本体でどうしても思い出に浸りたいという方以外は
AV出力のニューファミコンか各種パチファミを購入されたほうが
あらゆる面で苦労と面倒が少なくて済むと思います。

ファミリーコンピュータの本体です。
今から２０年前に誕生したゲーム機です。
かなり高いですが、今ファミリーコンピュータを
持っている人は少ないので、レア物という面では
それなりの価値はあると思います。
ただファミリーコンピュータのソフトをやりたいという方には、
この本体を買うことをあまりお勧めできません。

今ではファミコンミニ(ＧＢＡ)も発売されて、
持ち運び可能でファミコンソフトのリメイク版が楽しめます。
本来のファミコンソフトをどうしても楽しみたいという方は、
買ってみても良いと思います。

初めてファミリーコンピューターに出会ったのは友人宅でした。衝撃でした。ドンキーコングが家庭のテレビでできる!それまではゲーセンでするというのが普通でしたからとにかくびっくりでした!あの時の驚きは忘れる事はできません。あれから20年以上の年月が経過しましたが今でも私の手元で元気に作動してます。とにかくNEWよりも赤白ファミコンのほうがいいと思います。
