普段の音楽的嗜好からいけば、多分、本作('83年作)は聴くことなく通過してゆく確率の方が高い筈なのですが、本作に手を出したのは、実は第三者からの推薦でして。
これだけ甘く、美しく、ムディーな楽曲を並べているのに、"過ぎる"ところが無いんですね。故に、すごくシャープな感じすら受けます。
モノクロームな雰囲気があるのに、最小限のエレクトリックな味付けが全体をセピア色にし、清水氏のsaxが淡い色を着けてゆく。本当はBGMにはしたくないのですが、誰にも聴かせたいが故に、一日中かけていてもいいかなぁ、と思わせます。
