アクションロールプレイングゲーム。
マップ上に宿屋、ショップが点在するので、
そこで体力を回復したり、武器を買い換えたりします。
ちなみにこの作品、クリアのためのヒントは全く与えられません。
途中まではノーヒントで何とかなるんですが、
中盤以降は大変つらくなります。
クリアを目指すなら攻略本が必要です。

ちなみに私はワルキューレの仕草がかわいいので、
この作品が大好きです。

パッケージのワルキューレは、金色の長い髪で、とてもりりしく、美形でした。
それなのに、ゲームに出てくるワルキューレときたら、黒のおかっぱで二頭身。
あのギャップはすごかった。
RPG風の味付けがされていますが、どちらかというとアクションゲーム寄りです。
謎についての一切のヒントがないので、自力での攻略は困難かと。
特に、サンドラの魂を必要とするもうひとつの場面など、普通は分かるわけがありません。
今ではいくつものWebサイトに攻略法が書かれているので大丈夫ですが。
謎の難しさを除けば、レベルアップ付アクションゲームとして見たら良いゲームです。
当時、インフレ状態に突入しつつあったファミコンゲームの中で、安価でリリースされていました。
独自にROMカートリッジを製造する権利のあったナムコならではのアプローチです。
価格を考えれば、非常にお買い得感の高いゲームでした。

子どもの頃、このゲームを夢中になって遊んでいましたね。
ファミコンのゲームらしく、いじわるな謎もいくつかあったけど、友達と協力し合ってなんとか先へ進んでいきました。
それでも結局、クリアはできなかったのですが…。

わたしにとってはとても思い入れのある、宝物のようなゲームでした。
