エアロスミス最大のヒット曲、ダイアン・ウォーレン作の名バラード、
ミス・ア・シングのマキシシングルです。
映画は、とにもかくにもアメリカ万歳のＳＦ大作でボクには今ひとつですが、
この主題歌ミス・ア・シングはいい。
２０世紀最大のロックバラードだと断言しますね！！
で、このマキシには、映画のエンディングで流れたバージョンが入っているのです。
２曲目のロック・ミックスなんですが、
イントロがなく、いきなりボーカルから入るバージョンです。
映画に思い入れある人なら、こちらの方が感動が盛り上がるのではないでしょうか。
また、アニマル・クラッカーズは、映画で、ベン・アフレックがリヴ・タイラーと、
草原で語り合う名シーンのセリフ入りミス・ア・シングとなっています。
お腹の上で動物クッキーを動かすあのシーンですね。
このマキシは、エアロスミスのベスト盤とともに手元に置きたいです！！

ファンの間ではこの曲がダイアン・ウォーレンのペンによるものであるということで嫌いという人も多いようですが、最高のバラードである事には間違いありません。エアロを世に知らしめるのに一役買ったという意味で重要な曲である、ということにしておきましょう。
