このアルバムを何度聞いたことか・・・。あれから随分時間が経ったけれど、今でも、自然にその曲がふいと頭に浮かんでくるし、曲の順番だってなぜか覚えている。これほど、一環したコンセプトで流れるように名曲が配置されたアルバムというのもないのだろうか？と思える程完成度が高い。私の中では今でもTM Network時代最高のアルバムだと思っています。もちろん、他にもアルバムにも良い曲は沢山あるんですけどね。
　また、こんなアルバム作ってくれないかなぁ・・・小室さ〜〜ん。

　まどろみから目覚めるような始まりからして、他の凡百のポピュラーアルバムとはまったく違う。音の厚みがもう少し欲しい気もするが、全体で一つのドラマを構成するような完成度の高さに脱帽。

総評：プログレ色が強い壮大なコンセプトアルバム。TMのアルバムで一番人気が高く、唯一100万枚のセールスを達成出来たCDです。と言っても100万枚に達したのはごく最近で、発売日から足掛け13年かかったみたいですけどね。キャロル・ミュー・ダグラスというロンドン在住の架空の女の子がモチーフとなっています。アルバムジャケットから歌詞、コンサートや小説に至るまで、すべてがミュージカル仕立てとなっており、キャロルツアーでは木根尚登やB'zの松本孝弘のダンスも見ることが出来ました。レコーディングには松本孝弘だけでなく、浅倉大介まで参加している超豪華なアルバムですね。最も勢いがあった頃の、TMネットワークを代表するアルバムだと思います。
