子どもにも深く印象に残りそうな興味深い題材が多く使われています。そんな中で、単なる受験のためというよりは、国語本来のめざす読み解く力、表現する力を少しずつ養っていけるのがうれしいです。書き込み式というのも、使いやすい。他の問題集では、解説を読んでも腑に落ちないことが多かったですが、この問題集はとても丁寧で分かりやすい。
手ごたえは十分すぎる問題集ですが、これ一冊やれば、小学生としては十分記述の力を伸ばせると、子どもたちにさせています。

大手進学教室Ｙのテキストを使って在宅学習させていますが、量も解説も多すぎて子供だけではこなせず、成績もいまいち。これではダメだと思い、いろいろ調べてこのテキストに替えてみました。

分からなくなったら、分かるところまで戻ること。その意味で基礎の基礎から応用まで網羅しているこのテキストは毎日１問ずつ進めるにも量的に多くなく、無理なく進めていけそうです。解説等はしてあげますが、子供一人で進めていくことができる、という点で、学年に関係なく使えるところがいいと思います。

まだ使っている段階で、どこまで力がつくのか未知数なため、星４つとしましたが…。
