若い者が集まって、自分が怖いものを言い合います。でも松っつあん曰く、いい若いもんが怖い怖いなんて情けない。でもその松っつあんにも１つ苦手なものが、、、それはまんじゅう。思い出した松っつあんは寝込んでしまいます。ばかにされた若い衆は仕返ししてやろうってんで、まくらもとにまんじゅうをごっそり積み上げます。すると起きだしたまっつあんの悲鳴が、、、、、おなじみの落語をテンポ良く絵本に仕上げてあります。朗読の練習をして、是非子供に読んであげてください。親子ともに楽しめること請け合いです。とんちとユーモアある子供を育てるために！？

「まんじゅうこわい」は、落語の中でも一番ポピュラーなネタなんだそうだ。
とにかく、落語と言うものは、ただひたすら笑う事が良いのだとか。
当然我が子たちも、ひたすら笑い、受けまくっていた！
これからも、落語絵本を読み聞かせていきたい。

オマケですが、私は、枝雀師匠の「饅頭こわい」のCDを買ってしまったのだ！

小学６年生の子ども達に「読み聞かせの会」で着物姿で落語絵本「まんじゅうこわい」を読んであげました。最初、緊張していた子ども達もだんだん笑い顔に変わり、読み終わった後には、口々に「面白かったね。」「こうもり傘のことかな‥？」「私もまんじゅう食べたくなっちゃった‥」などと話しあっていました。ＴＶドラマの影響で子ども達の間でも落語がひそかなブームになっているみたいです。この本はぜひ、お父さんが落語家になりきって子ども達に読んで聞かせてあげて欲しいなと思います。良いですよ！
