「生命としてのこども」この本にある印象的な言葉です。フェリーニの「道」で主人公であるジェルソミーナに対して軽業師が発した言葉を思い出します。全てのものに存在価値があるのだと言う事、道端にある石ころにだって･･･と言う言葉。人間の価値を経済効率、生産性の高さを基準にしか図ることの出来ない現代社会において、この本は私たちに新たな視点で物を見る能力を与えてくれます。この本は、生きると言うこと、幸せということ、自分自身と世界を見つめなおす機会を与えてくれます。

あるがままを受け止め、海・山など自然に触れ合う大切さ、子供を持つお母さんに共感できる内容。主人公のピュアなハートと前向きで明るい行動的な作者から元気をもらえる作品です。忘れかけていた大切な気持ちを思い起こしました。
