一方で長引く不況、他方で道徳観の揺らぎ。　　そういう中で、(幸せな)金持ちになる方法論や主にＩＴ技術を利用する広告誘引に関するコンサルビジネス等が跋扈するなかで、　基軸となる、価値尺度を提示してくれる書物と思います。
　各種多様の情報に戸惑い迷いがちな折、揺らぎない真実や価値があることを、暗に示してくれる本だと思います。

　五つ☆にしなかったのは、この図書に収録されています、小論すべてに、同じ程度の強さの感銘を受けた訳ではないからに過ぎません。
秀逸な本であることに変わりはありません。

若い頃は、よく何のために生きるのか？どう生きたらいいのか？
悩みもしたし、なるようになると声にした。
自分だけは特別だとも思っていた。相手をいたわる気持ちがなかった。
・・・・などと読んで反省を促された。
あなたは、どう思うか？
知識だけでなく、人間力を養う。人の気を引く人は、何かが違う。
謙虚に驕りなく素直にーそこを簡単明瞭に書かれている。
致知の読者は、いいなぁと思う。

　寺田一清さんが序文を書き，巻末には坂村真民さんがこの書籍のために詩を贈っています。この序文から巻末の詩までの間には，２５年間の雑誌「致知」に掲載された珠玉の人生論がまとめられています。この本を読み，森信三先生が「致知」の読者が１０万人を越えれば日本が変わるだろうと言われていたことを知りました。本書を読んで，確かにそうだろうなと感じ入りました。
　一読する間に，何度も胸が熱くなる文章に出会いました。この小冊子に出会えてよかったと，本当に感謝の気持ちが湧きました。また，雑誌「致知」の講読を考えるに至りました。
　星１００個贈ってもよいくらいの評価です。
