菊田 和佳子(きくだ・わかこ)
神奈川大学外国語学部スペイン語学科助教。静岡県三島市出身。東京外国語大学スペイン語学科卒業、同大学院博士前期課程修了、後期課程単位取得退学。東海大学海洋学部専任講師(スペイン語担当)を経て、現在に至る。専門はスペイン語学、スペイン語史。 著作にスペイン語テキスト “Entre dos mundos”(共著、同学社)、“La lengua de las mariposas” (共著、朝日出版社)などがある。近年は『プログレッシブスペイン語辞典(第2版)』『ポケットプログレッシブ西和・和西辞典』『西和中辞典(第2版)』(以上、小学館)などの編纂にも携わっている。

A Kid's Review
初心者にはキビシイ単語集です。おもに下記の理由で☆減点しました。

・大学１年目で学ぶ文法・発音・作文能力があることを前提に編纂されています。
　例文も接続法まで把握している事を前提に掲載されています。
・読めて当たり前ということでカナによる発音表記は一切ありません。
・読めて当たり前なのでＣＤもついていません。
・格変化も分かっていて当然、あるいは自分で西和辞典を調べるか変化表が
　頭にあって当然→一切の解説無し、頭に入れた文法力を問われます。
・携帯性を重視したのかも知れませんが、新書サイズの見開きスペースに情報を
　詰め込みすぎ。ポケットプログレッシブ辞典ほどのフォントサイズです。
　裸眼視力1.5の私でも目が疲れてしまいます。

晴山式特有の「例文のならべかえ・反復・穴埋め問題による記憶の定着」は
良くできていると思います。スペイン語のみならず、他言語版の
出版も期待します。

実務上、ブラジル人に接する事が多く、趣味もかねつつ、同じロマンス語という事から、スペイン語、フランス語を、ポルトガル語以外に学んでいます。しかし、大学では第二外国語がドイツ語しか選択できないカリキュラムであったため、社会人に入ってから独学で学んでいます。

このため、三修社、ナツメ社、語研、三省堂といった国内の語学書出版社のもの、McGraw-HillのMcGraw-Hill's Complete Medical Spanish: Practical Medical Spanish for Quick and Confident Communication, Easy Spanish Reader: A Three-Part Text for Beginning Students (Easy Language Readers)やTeach YourselfシリーズのTeach Yourself Spanish: Complete Audio Cd Program (Teach Yourself Language Complete Courses), Teach Yourself Improve Your Spanish (Teach Yourself Improve Your...)）など、アマゾンの洋書検索で見つけて購入するなどし、相当お金をかけているほうです。

外語大、あるいは、４年生大学の語学学科で専門的に学んだ方には参考にならないと思いますが、無駄な書籍も含めて多くのものに目を通した経験からすると、、、『単語集』としてみるなら、この本程秀逸なものは少ないと思います。タイトルも、『スペイン語基本単語速習術』ですから、発音だとか、文法だとか、そういった点では初心者向けではないにせよ、かなり良く纏まった良書であろうと思います。

ちなみに、conjugationを学ぼうというなら、101 Spanish Verbs: The Art of Conjugation (101 Verbs)で、カラフルな絵を見つつ楽しみながら学べます。文法については、スペイン本国のアカデミア文法か、メキシコ中南米を意識してベリョのものとするのか、あるいは、発音についてもスペイン本土（カスティーリャ）、カリブ海諸国、プエルトリコ、メキシコ、南米、、、などで異なっているので福島先生の良書スペイン語圏3億万人と話せるくらべて学ぶスペイン語―入門者から「再」入門者までも参考にするのが良いと思われます。

ですから、単語集と割り切ると、非常にお得だと思います。

見出し語として１００の重要動詞が選ばれ、それぞれに９つの例文がついています。
さらに、例文に必ず一つは新出重要単語が含まれているので、合計１０００の単語が覚えられるという単語帳です。
例文も、直接法現在から接続法過去まですべての時制が用いられているので、
自然に文法感覚が身につきます。
難を言えば、なぜＣＤ付きにしなかったのかと。
ダウンロード版でいいから販売してくれないですかねえ。
