ただ単に、良いレイアウトの写真を載せるのでなく、何故これが良いのか一つ一つ分析されているのがいい。特に「逆三角形」「天地人」などの昔からつかわれいてる技法が例に出されていたので勉強になった。なぜ星が４つかというと、「フレキシブル」とか「メタファー」など専門用語でない英単語が多く、無知な私にしたらいちいち調べるのがめんどくさい。しかし、直感で良いレイアウトはわかるが、何故と言われたら説明できない人には必見だと思う。

雑誌の編集は、自由で愉しませるデザインが増えましたが、
基本とその理由を知ることは有益なことです。
背後にある考え方など、デザインを学ぶのに
事例を挙げながら丁寧に解説されています。

~買うまでは実際役に立つか、と心配だった。やはり手に取り中をじっくり読んで・・・これが今までの買い方。でも、近くに専門の本屋がなくホームページで偶然見つけた本を買ってみた。う~ん、じっくり読んで仕事に生かし、役立てたい。
私なりに材料を選び料理し、それが、魅せるデザインならぬできるデザイン、語るレイアウトならぬ見せるレイアウトなのだ~~。~
