いやあ、面白かったです。デビュー作の「禁断のパンダ」も読みましたが、正直あちらはそれなりにしか楽しめませんでした。そのせいで、この作品を買うかどうか随分と迷いました。でもなんとなく気になる作家さんだったので、これで駄目なら二度と手を出さないと決めて購入を決意。結果は、その日の内に一気読みしてしまいました。

味覚の描写は相変わらず素晴らしく、前作でイマイチだったミステリー部分は格段に向上しています。物足りない所もあるっちゃあるんですが、バランス良くまとまっていて非常に読みやすい点がマル。このサクサク感が、この作者の持ち味なんでしょう。食の安全というテーマもタイムリーで興味深かったし、爽やかに締めくくられるラスト（前作とはまるで違う）まで飽きることがなかったです。

次作はどんな作品でくるのでしょうか。やっぱりシリーズ物かな。それならそれでいいんですが、この作者の料理以外をテーマにした作品も読んでみたいです。取り敢えず、次回作にも期待しています。

読んでみようと思ったきっかけは、カワイイ表紙に惹かれてかなぁ〜。
と思いながら読んでいくと…どんどん内容に引き込まれ、一気に読んでしまいました。スイーツの表現が絶品で、明日にでも甘いスイーツを買いに行きたくなりました。
もちろん、それ以外の内容もかなり気に入った作品です。
「拓未司」さんの作品は、初めて読んだのですが…他の作品も是非読んでみたいです。

「禁断のパンダ」で料理の湯気まで立ち上ってきそうな鮮やかな表現でデビューした筆者。今回はスイーツがメインとなったためなのか、弱いと言われたミステリーに力を入れたからなのか、料理の描写が随分と抑えられてしまったようで、残念でした。
逆に、前作のように激しいコントラストで味付けるのではなく、正面切って取り組んだミステリー部分は、あらら、なんだか普通。展開も読みやすくいたって普通のミステリーに。
主人公の家族愛など、サブテーマとメインストーリーとの濃淡をもう少しつけたほうがよいような。全体的にバランスがよくなって、なんだか平均点になっちゃったようで、次作はどうするんだろう？
