ロールケーキブームなので、表紙もかわいいので買っちゃいました。
たくさんの種類があって、基本のロールケーキから
デコレーションした特別な日用にまで使えます。

でも、ページをあちこち移動しながら作らないといけないのが不満。
分量は同じページに載っているのだけど、
生地の作り方は→○○ページ、クリームの作り方は→○○ページ

といった感じで面倒で、結局本を見るのも面倒になってきました。
私のようなずぼらなお菓子作りの人には向いていないかも。

ケーキ自体はとてもおいしくできるので、
ていねいなお菓子作りをされる人にはお勧めです。

ロールケーキで上手く巻けずに生地が破れて？割れて？しまった人って結構いませんか？

津田さんのこの本では、通常のスポンジケーキに近い生地の他に
スフレのようにふわふわした生地とカリッとした外側の食感を出す
棒状に絞り袋で出してならべた生地が紹介されています。
スポンジケーキの生地以外はどちらもとっても巻き安いです。

基本のこの３パターンの生地にココアパウダーや紅茶エキスと茶葉を加えたり
デコレーションのクリームや具材をアレンジして、抹茶の和風なものまで
数十種類が紹介されています

私は生地がやや甘めだったので砂糖の量をかなり減らしてつくってますが
ながめているだけでも楽しいし、次はこれ、次はこれとどんどんつくりたく
なります

本の校正は基本の生地やクリームがまとめて載っているのでそのページ
に戻ることは必要ですが、分解したプロセス写真がかなり丁寧になっているので
素人でも作りやすいです。
また、プロセス写真に大事なポイントもきちんと紹介されています。
タマゴのあわ立て具合もあと一息の写真と、OKの写真と２カット載ってて
とってもわかりやすいです。

是非是非試してください

でも、こういう料理の本はホントは中味検索を是非つけて欲しいですよ…

家でロールケーキを作る人にもってこいの内容です。
生地と中身を組み合わせれば無限大のロールケーキの魅力が伝わります。
写真も可愛くて見ているだけでも楽しい気持ちになります。

ただ、生地のレシピのページが別なので、いちいち戻って見ないといけないのでそこが使いにくいです。
