家庭での、子どもと遊びながら、楽しみながらの勉強方法の具体例がたくさんで、しかも段階ごとに書かれているので、読みやすく、実践しやすいと思いました。何のためにやっているかもわかりやすいです。
陰山先生の本が、すでに基礎が出来ている子ども向けなら、これはそのずっと手前の、一年生で習ったところからゆっくり、じっくりしましょう、というご家庭向けだと思いました。

驚異的に子どもの学力、人間力を高めるにはどうしたらよいか？それも元々能力の高い生徒でなく、小学４年になっても足し算引き算ができない生徒を驚異的にできるようにするにはどうしたらよいか？そういった一つ一つのステップが子どもとの会話付きで、具体的に展開される。奇跡的だと思わされる一方で、この方法なら確かだと納得もさせられる。この本は『家庭楽習でわが子は変わる』の姉妹編で、似通った箇所もあるが、共通しているのは、とにかく子どもではなく大人、指導者が変わらなければならないということ。できないのは、とかく子どものせいにしがちだが、実際はその逆だということがよく分かる本です。

小学校高学年の子供に勉強について質問されて答えられる親はどれくらいいるでしょうか？新指導要領になって、内容が少なくなったといっても算数の分数や文章問題などは、難しい問題もあります。
子供が、「親ができないから、適当でいいや。」と思わないように、一緒に勉強しています。

中学になってからは、難しくなりますので無理だと思いますが、６年生までは、やればできる内容なので頑張ろうと思います。
