イメージに払う対価として1000円が相応しいかどうか、中身を確認してから購入する方がいい。方法はユニークかつ覚えやすいが、あくまでも表層的、かつ当たり前だが、これだけではどうにもならない。とっかかりとしてはいいのかもしれないが、どのような対象を考えているのか良くわからない。

１ヶ月の留学経験と少し英会話教室に通ったことがあるけれど、発音には自信がないので購入しました。
確かに４コマ漫画を使って音の漏れ方というか擬音等を使って説明してくれて、イメージをつかみやすく、分かりやすくはありました。
でも、内容は簡単な単語と母音や子音のみの練習なので、少しでも英会話を習ったことがあるレベルの人には物足りない内容かもしれません。それに、ネイティブ英語に耳を慣らしたことがある人には、ちょっと本城さんの英語は違和感があるかも。

CDには内容は本城さんによる日本語での説明と、単語や短文を使って発音を教えてくれるけど、本城さんの発音だけでなく、本当のネイティブの発音も欲しかったところ。
この英語でも通じるんだろうし、本城さんがどんなに英語が巧いのかわからないけど、聞いていてやっぱり違和感がありました。
英語の部分だけネイティブの方が発音していてさえくれれば、結構良書だったと思います。

私はこのCDを聞いていると、日本語なまりの入った英語を覚えてしまいそうなのでCDの方はほとんど聞いていません。でも、CDを聞かなくとも見ていて分かりやすいので、舌の動きの図が載っている別の本とあわせて、イメージをつかむ為に本の方は参考にしてます。

この本城先生（NORI）が書いた数々の英会話本もさることながら、実際に本城式英会話教室に行って気付いたことは！なんだ英語ってこんなに楽しかったの♪というのが正直驚きました。それほど楽しく英語が学べて仲間も増える。そして、英語に限らず外国人に対してのブロックを外してくれます。私もそのおかげで楽しくコミュニケーションがとれるようになりました。ネイティブ発音も楽しく学ぶのが一番ですよね♪
