巷に漫画参考書は数多あるが、その多くは原作者（学者や教師）と漫画家がセパレートしており、「その分野を解っている人が自ら漫画で描いたもの」というものは少ない。前者の場合は原作者と漫画家の間に一枚フィルタを通しているので、「これを描いた人はホントに解ってるのか？」という何とも言えぬ不信感を感じてしまう。この不信感が学習効果を大きく落とす。

その点、本書は専門家本人がわざわざ漫画の修行までして描いたもので、なるほど、内容には絶大な信頼感が持てるのである。そして、内容もすっきりとしていて実際に非常に解り易い。本書を作るのには多大な手間がかかったであろうが、その手間だけの良書になっていると思う。

アホな私にも分かりやすいです。
どうしても分からない力学を、楽しんで気楽に理解したい人にお勧めです。
身近なもの、例えば「ジャガイモとフォーク」で『モーメント』の説明とか。
自分で実験する事ができる素材で解説してくれるので、基礎から感覚的にも理解できました。
こんな可愛い漫画で説明してくれて本当にありがとう！！！という気持ちになりました。
文系頭で力学を理解したい、私には必須です。
つまり
「なんだ！力学って楽しいじゃんっ」て思いたい人に ピッタリおすすめです。
　絵が可愛いので、この手のものにしては 、読みやすいですし。

構造力学をわかりやすく理解してもらうため、学校に通ってまでマンガの表現方法を自ら習得・仕上げた一冊ということです。なるほど内容とマンガが交互に破綻することなく、正面から図解による解説を試みた筆者の情熱と誠意が感じられます。図解とは名ばかりの入門本とは明らかに一線を隔てた”名著”だと思います。
